Charlie VenneHello, tānisi to all our regular and new visitors to our Website. I would also like to give a warm welcome to all returning students, whether it’s elementary, high school, or post-secondary, to the new school year. My name is Charlie Venne and I am originally from the community of Hall Lake. I graduated at Senator Myles Venne School in 1995, and received my Information Technology diploma in 2004 at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies in Saskatoon. I joined the The Gift of Language and Culture Project in late march of 2005 as a substitute Web Designer and have become a full time designer with the project since. I enjoy working with the rest of the staff because I need the material they develop to place on the Web site. I regularly collaborate with the Illustrators such as Zack O'brien, Jeff Bell and “The Other Charlie”: Charlie McKenzie. We have a large collection of images, audio, and video that I use for display on the Internet. The Material and Curriculum Developers are always available to edit and provide Cree written material whether in SRO or syllabics. All these team members come together to provide what people see, hear, and read on the Web site. If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact me: 425-2183 ext:255 You can also go to our comments page. Email: chvenne@llrib.ca or: cv2k@hotmail.com ikosi pitamā |
