Zack O'BrienZack O’Brien has been employed with The Gift of Language and Culture Project since 2003. As an Illustrator Zack provides the visual resources needed to teach language. Visual resources include everything from flash cards and CD covers, to posters and storybooks. As well Zack serves as the Audio and Visual Technician, or ‘video guy’ for short. To this end, he conducts interviews, records cultural events and makes instructional (how-to) videos that all contribute to the resources needed to teach First Nation’s languages. Zack grew up in La Ronge with his mom, dad, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Zack continues to live in La Ronge with his wife Silvia and their child. He welcomes anyone who is interested in making a video project that could be used to teach culture and language to come in and share their ideas at the Gift of Language and Culture (band office). ikosi pitamā
