I was raised on the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation. I am the mother of 3 daughters and kohkom of nine.

I have been involved in Cree language retention and revitalization for about 20 years. As a member of the Cree Language Retention Committee I had the privilege of working with Edie Venne Hyggen, Minnie McKenzie and their staff.

I am honoured to have been asked to work as Site Coordinator for La Ronge.

I am so impressed with all of the great work that has already been done by the Gift of Language and Culture GLC Curriculum. I look forward to being a part of this creative team. I hope to assist with the musical aspect in some way. This is a wonderful resource for language teachers and communities.
